Customer Testimonials

This message is by way of a testimonial. I purchased a MagDrive System and installed it in my 1992 Saab. I want to report that after a break-in period of about a half of a tank of fuel, I was getting a 38.56% improvement in mileage. I work for NASA at the Goddard Space flight Center and was frankly sceptical of the claims made for the H-H-O generator. However; the 100% money back guarantee made my decision to try the unit a no-brainer. After installation and adhering exactly to the instructions supplied my vehicle went from getting 300 miles for 14 gallons of gasoline to getting 415.7 miles for 14 gallons of gas.I told everyone I work with about the results and was roundly disbelieved until I showed the receipts for the fuel I used on a trip. BRAVO! A product that really does what is claimed for it! The United Arab Emirates had better diversify!

Jim,
I want to thank you for a great product that appears to be well engineered and constructed and also does what it is supposed to do. I installed my series 12a double brick unit last week on my 2007 Toyota Fj Cruiser. This vehicle weighs 4500 pounds and is as aerodynamic as a cardboard box. I drive approximately 34 miles to work every day, mostly on Interstate highways. In the past the best mileage I could get was 21.5 mpg by driving like an old lady. This week I have seen my on-highway mileage increase to 28.2 yesterday and 29.9 today. This was driving at a steady 60 mph with no headwind. I use a Scan-gage to compute my mpg. It has been calibrated for speedo error using a good gps so the figures are pretty accurate. These mileage figures were attained under excellent driving conditions with the a/c off but I feel my overall mileage per tank of gasoline will most likely be better than 25 mpg & will certainly be a lot better than what I used to get.

The largest difference aside from the smoother idle and decrease in gasoline used to run my vehicle is the smell. Before installing my MagDrive, my car (inside and out) smelled heavily of half-burned fuel, and I assumed it was something that had gotten into the seats.

After installing my unit, the smell is gone, it drives much more quietly, and I've noticed a huge savings at the pump (less gas used, as well as only needing to put Mid grade fuel in an engine that normally has issues with anything less than Premium fuel.

Hi guys,
Well i finally got to finish counting up my reciepts and a tally on the odometer. So here it is:
start mileage198902 end mileage199822. 920 miles on 27 gallons of fuel .that equates to 34 mpg. Thats from sea level to 4000 ' elevation on a 5.9 litre cummins with 199822 miles on it, driving at or above the speed limit just about 99.9 % of the time. Not bad if do say so myself!!! I cleaned out the unit today and boy did it need it. I do recommend checking the reserve tank at least every other fuel stop cause that diesel goes thru the water. I will replace the reserve tank with a bigger one as soon as I can. and by the by I can back up my claims with reciepts which I willpost as soon as I can. Take care, talk to you soon........Ralf

In Ralf's message, what he didn't say is what he had been getting in Miles Per Gallon before he installed his Generator. It was around 21. With a jump to 34 MPG, we calculated that he's getting around a 62% increase in MPG's.

Me and my partner Montie have started a new company we call Oregon Hybrid Technologies in the next week we are hoping to become a distributor Under that name. The ford Ranger that I put the mini Gen in continues to improve on its power and mileage. When I first put the unit in got a 20% increase fuel mileage and 10% increase in power. After one week and 700 miles I have seen an Unreal increase in mileage and as never before my 2001 Ford Ranger 2.5 L will now not only spin the tires but smoke the tires. When I first put the unit in I got one gallon of distilled water put 1/2 level spoon [the one provided] of baking soda in the gallon mixed filled the Gen turned it on with the fill cap off and the truck not running to test the unit as per instructions saw it bubble put fill cap in filled reservoir and started the truck. I have gone 700 miles so far and have only used 1 inch of water. Amazing!

It's been over two months since I had my the Magdrive minigen installed on my Honda Accord '99. I must admit I do feel a difference in power. More importantly my fuel milage jumped from 33 MPG ( highway ) to 41. I also like the fact that my exhaust doesn't smell any more.

I have a 1999 dodge 2500 4X4 extended cab with 5.9 ltr V8 (360) with 6 speed auto trans and tow package I was only getting 9 MPG befor installing your unit. I installed the series 9 super gen. Now I am averaging 14.78 MPG it idles smoother now and def has more power towing trailers. It will pay for it self very quickly! for I drive about 200 miles a day thanks for making a WELL BUILT product that does what you say it will!!!

I just completed my first mileage/performance test using my new Hydro-Gen Unit installed this week with the following results:
Model Series7 Hydro-Gen
Miles driven: 186
Fuel used: 10.9 gal
MPG: 17.06
Prior MPG: 12-13

This test was on a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2 l Magnum V-8. The vehicle has a factory towing package which includes the low geared rear end. Previously this vehicle averaged 12 to 13 miles per gallon regardless of speed or whether city or highway, loaded or empty. This first test involved both highway miles using the cruise control and approximately 30 miles was stop and go in city rush hour traffic.

Perfomance: I have noticed an improvement in engine performance/power. On hills that previously the transmission shifted to a lower gear and the tach increased to 3,000rpms. Now the vehicle speed increases to maintain 70 mph but does not down shift. Using the 12 mpg figure @ $2.90 a gallon I figure that my unit saves me $23.20 per tank full. I will gladly pocket $23.20 any day. I will send you more data as I continue to operate this unit. This test was down 1/2 mpg but I had more city miles.

My second mileage test results:
Model Series7 Hydro-Gen
Miles - 347
Gal. - 20.8
MPG- 16.6

After you replaced my series 7 hydro-gen with a new series 8 maxi-gen unit I had the following results on my first fuel test: I drive a 2001 Dodge 1500 5.2l magnum V-8 with factory installed towing package to include the low geared rear-end. Prior to installing the series8 my vehicle averaged 12-13 mpg regardless of type of driving, speed or whether towing or not towing. With the series 8 Maxigen I drove 306 miles (mostly highway) at an average speed of 70-75 mph using A/C. After 306 miles I used 16.1 gallons which computed to 19.0 mpg. Not bad...not bad at all. Using an average of 12.5 prior to installing my series 8, I now have an increase of 6.5 mpg. With my trucks 24 gallon tank, I can now drive 156 miles further on a tank of gas using "WATER". At $2.50 per gallon and my old average of 12.5 it means I put $32.50 in MY POCKET each time I buy a full tank of gasoline. People wonder why I am laughing when I pass a gas station.

Since changing to Potassium Hydroxide I have found that my series 8 runs at a much cooler temperature and has almost eliminated steam. I had installed a drip tube so that I could drain water that was collecting in my tube going to the carb. Since changing to Potassium Hydroxide my moisture in the drip tube has stopped. I believe this is a great improvement in the operation of my series 8. Thanks for keeping us updated on changes that make our units better.

I just received my MagDrive Hydro-Gen and I am very excited to install it. I am impressed on the workmanship of the product too. It looks great! Nice work.. Just though you might like to see some photos of my Hydro GEN on my Buick. One of these shows the car befor the install. The others after. I can tell you too that besides providing a nice looking unit. It really gets the job done. My average fuel economy for my regular drive to work is about 20.5 MPG before the HYDRO GEN. This past week I got 23.8 MPG. And I could not keep my foot out of the gas. Thats 3.3 MPG better than without the MAgdrive or about 15%. It looks like I could get even better mileage as the car drives more. Also I notice that the car runs like you put a really high octane in the tank but I am using the cheap stuff. I really believe that anyone that has a car that requires 91 octane would run just as well if not better on regular running your mag drive.

Ok, so I just want to tell everyone about my experience with the Magdrive Hydro-gen. I did alot of research about hydrogen fuel etc. and found Jim's video on you tube. I went to his website, called him, asked a few questions etc. Then I ordered. I figured that it looked like the real deal, I had no reason to doubt and having talked to Jim I could tell that he was a straight forward gentlemen. So before the product came in the mail I had clocked my milage at 19 mpg. When the product arrived I couldn't make heads or tails out of it...so I called Jim on the phone. We talked for about an hour, he totally explained the whole thing of where the intake manifold was how to do the electrical etc etc. I mean he literally graphically walked me through the whole set up! So then I went to the auto parts store and started hooking it up to my car. At 11 pm I went back to my house to finish the job, my neighbhoor came out, we worked on it. The next morning I drove to work but I hadn't put a fuse in the add a switch circuit, so it wasn't lighting up...so I called Jim, we talked a bit but I had to start working so I told him I would call him back at lunch. At lunch an onsight electrician took a look at the switch and noticed that I hadn't put in the fuse, so he put it in and it started working. So that was Thursday at noon, today is Sunday and I'm getting 27 mpg!! Rock and Roll!!! Thank you Jim for all of your help and support. As for all those reading this testimony...nothing ventured nothing gained.

Took the truck out for a good run to get everything up to operating temperature and checked the electrolyte amperage. It was 18A. Added sodium hydroxide until I got 22A at full operating temperature. It looks like I will need 1 1/8 teaspoons of sodium hydroxide using the reverse osmosis water that I have. There is a lot of water vapour coming out of the exhaust with water dripping out as well. Also noticed an increase in torque throughout the RPM range. Also seems that I don't need the same amount of throttle to maintain my speed climbing a 8% grade

Just got back from a drive on the highway again. It definitely seems that my truck requires a lot less pedal than before, almost as if I'm coasting. The amount of throttle also seems to be less as the speed increases. Also, the acceleration is much better than before at all speeds.

After a 45 minute drive, I checked the temperature of the electrolyte. It was 165 degrees F. This is the electrolyte that I measured at 22 amps under operating temperature. The air temperature was about 50 degrees F at the time. Preliminary MPG calculations indicates about a 25 to 30 percent increase in MPG with combined city/highway traffic. Now getting about 18-19 MPG in the city/highway combined.

I just installed the 11a kit into my toyota landcruiser and am already seeing a 30% mpg improvement, more power, quieter engine, and no more gas smell from my tailpipe. I'm sold on the product and am inquiring about how to become a distributor in my area of Colorado(North Central Mountains). I am located in Edwards, CO which is near most of the ski resort areas. I have over 15 years in the ski retail industry and am very customer service oriented. I believe this area to have great sales potential for the magdrive units and would like to be a distributor of the systems in my area.

Thank you,

Hi,
Thank for the friendly service. I just got off the phone with a very helpful and friendly person who answered all my questions. I purchased the MagDrive about 7 months ago, and my mileage has gone from 35 mpg to about 45 - 50 mpg. I drive a late '87 Honda Civic, and recently drove from West Palm Beach, Florida to Burlington, Vermont. Although the muffler fell off in Stuart, Florida (I used a coat hanger to suspend it back into place - ha ha ha), my car is getting great mileage. Quit thinking about this and take action. Buy the MagDrive. It works. You can put my e-mail here (bicycledays@yahoo.com) so people can verify this.

Thanks & God Bless You!

I want to thank Mag Drive for creating an alternative fuel supplement for today's cars. I do a lot of driving around Los Angeles. My gas bill has been at least $320.00 a month. I have a Nissan xterra 3.3 Liter V6 engine. It said on the sticker it gets 21 MPG but the reality is the best I ever got was 18.50 MPG on the highway with conservative driving. And local streets MPG as low as 14.7.

Before MagDrive Super gen. Using a scan gauge and measuring fuel consumption at fill up.

2004 Nissan xterra v6 3.3 liter
Hwy MPG 18.50 at best 317 miles driven using 17.1 gal of gas.
City MPG as low as 14.7

I am a pilot and have built experimental aircraft, so I thought I would try and build my own HHO generator using basic principals for HHO production using electrolysis and stainless steel. My HHO generator did work. However, it produced less than 1LPM of HHO gas supplement at 12 volts 25 amps, (that's allot of amps) for my Nissan 3.3 liter engine. It was not sufficient to help my MPG when you subtract the load on the engine alternator trying to produce it. Not to mention the stainless steel parts and hardware were very expensive. I should have bought a MagDrive.

Rather than reinvent the wheel I decided to try MagDrives Super gen. Jim at MagDrive was very helpful on the phone and was proud of me for trying my own HHO generator but we both agreed I don't have the time or money to do the research that MagDrive has done to produce the an efficient HHO generator. You can see that MagDrive has done much R+D in the Hydrogen market and will continue to do more.

When the kit came in I was happy to see that the Super gen was very well thought out and the installation instructions were very straight forward. I installed the kit myself in about 4 hours. The longest part was getting the guts to drill into my intake throttle body rubber boot for the venturis, it was no problem. The MagDrive is placed right behind the grill for good cooling. I can run the Super gen on 2 level teaspoons of sodium bicarbonate and still keep it under 15 amps with the cooling fans on and fresh air coming in from the grill. I will do MPG tests all this week driving to work and back both city and highway using the Scan Gauge and fill up information. And will give you the results. Xterra fuel mileage with MagDrive,Scan gauge, Air conditioning off.

Hwy 25.9
City 16.2
Avg. 21.05
10 to 15 amps depending on daily temps in morning and evening. Morning temps are 68 to 70 deg f and evenings are up to 98 to 100 deg f. In the morning I pull less amps due to the cooler air temps. I used 2 level measuring teaspoons per gal of condensation air conditioner water.

I just install a MagDrive Hydro Gen last week and felt that the engine runs really great and smoother, the thing is I don't know how much my miles per gallon is right now co'z I never tested it before, the only thing I know I put gas in twice a week before, now I'm only putting gas in once a week and I really thank you for that.

I am writing this to relate my experience with your hydrogen fuel supplement generator. Prior to installation my ford e-350 (heavy 1 ton) van was getting 12.2 mpg.I installed (easily accomplished following the instructions) the Super-Gen immediately prior to leaving Georgia on a 4,000 mile trip to Arizona to camp and rockhound.I'm sure am glad I did as I pulled a 12,000 lb. cargo trailer on the trip. The previous year I had experienced gas mileage of 7-8 mpg pulling this trailer and load. This year the Super-gen provided results of 11.1 mpg while towing. Outstanding! Without the Super-Gen and due to the skyrocketing price of gas, I would probably find the cost of this annual (10 years running) trip to be prohibitive! However, thanks to your unit I will be able to continue the trip in the future! Adding the fact of the units' contribution to the enviornment of practically zero emissions I judge the purchase and use of a Super-Gen to be a "no-brainer"!!! Combining short term payback and a significant reduction in monies paid to the oil companies is an absolute winner in my mind. I do not hesitate to recommend your product to everyone!

On 6/24/2006 I installed a Hydro-Gen on my 1997 Jeep. My opinion of the Hydro-Gen todate. After the installation I took it for a ride to see if it could work on my Jeep. Keep in mind that I have very large tires and get only 12.09 MPG. As I started the test ride I could notice a difference in the performance, it was alot better, the farther I went the better it got. All in all I am very impressed with the mileage with the big tires.

MILEAGE TEST RESULTS
81711-81821=110MILES=6.502GAL MPG WAS 16.91.
AN INCREASE OF ALMOST 5 MPG. OR [39.86%]
THIS TEST WAS FREEWAY DRIVING AT 60-65MPH NO AIR CONDITIONER RUNNING.
I would think if I were to go to OEM tires I'd get even a much better MPG average. My next step to improve mileage will be to put in new plugs and plug wires and tune it up, I still have the original plug wires on my Jeep... If gas keeps going up I'll have to think about smaller tires. I will keep you informed on my progress.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND HELP IN GETTING ME STARTED ON THE NEW HYDRO-GEN SYSTEM

Had an easy SuperGen install in the back seat of a Porshe 924 today.I pre-charged the unit night before, and warmed it up again before install.RPMS went from 1000 normal up to 1800RPM with the SG in place @30a fused 10ga.I retarded the timing 15* +-2* and increased the idle/throttle a smidge to bring it up to 900-1000 RPM.Really has a nice wholesome hum at highway speeds with strong acceleration above 2500RPM.This is with only one 7' venturi conduit from the unit direct to the intake head. Its a little weak on acceleration from a dead stop,I suspect a combination of both timing and lack of installing the T fitting and dual venturi tubes to the breather. As a bonus,if I keep this unit where its at it will cure the rear window winter defrost problem I've had since purchasing the car 20yrs ago.Its taken much abuse, they sure made'm to last-cept for the feul injection/fuel system.I had more top end today than Ive had in years out of it. Very durable design easy to work with.I'd say 50-60% increase without T vector and improper timing. Now that Ive had a good nap dialing it in should be a snap, going to try the T first thing tomorrow and check performance.Any fine tuning tips are welcome!

The Volvo 760 runs fine with the SG.I did retard the timing approx 2* after reducing the idle/throttle to smooth it out.The Maxi arrived,I'll give my back a bit of a rest before install.

I installed the Mini-Gen into a Honda 2.2L 4dr vehicle which has 287,000. Photo I've averaged 35mpg with automatic 4sp X 3 tanks.Normal mileage according to honda site put it at 27-28 mpg(5sp manual).Using Castrol full synthetic lubricant.I have a 400 miler this coming week. I'm happy with the performance. FYI the 91' Honda Accord accepts the Mini without the need for mounting, set on top the rigid AC freon lines, surrounded by plastic components, very convenient. I pulled 36.3 mpg on the last 400mi 91 honda accord 2.2L,using 11 gallons petrol,95% hwy. 36.3mpg is a fairly accurate figure.Seemed to have more pep than usual at elevation through the WV mountains. The most recent mpg review I've found rates my Honda at 22cty-28hwy mpg with 24 average on petrol. The h20 was still slightly oxidized, probably residue from the previous mix. So,I opened the Mini, scrubbed it out with a brush,no soap.Oxidation is apparent around the high-water mark only. The clear silicone gasket top and bottom were still in good repair for reassembly, very user-friendly design all around..

I recently became aware of the huge internet groups following the Hydrogen Cell Technology. I too immediately jumped on board with this viable and easily attainable free fuel benefit. We installed our first cell on a 3.3 Liter engine purchased from www.fuelfromh20.com and not only did we see an improvement in MPG but also a noticeable improvement in overall performance. One of the benefits of using a water fuel in addition to Gasoline, is performance. The folks at www.fuelfromh20 are top notch and provide everything you need including a money back guarantee! I have enjoyed installing and using their products and getting answers to my questions quickly, just by calling Toll Free 1-888-662-3583 or by e-mail. I can say from experience that I am very satisfied!

This is Antonio Rodrigues i just recieved your magdrive unit this tuesday. i just finished installing the unit in my 2004 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi. And i would have to say it was very easy to install. i will be looking foward to this weekend to get some numbers on MPG but already i noticed that the truck runs smoother at idle and the exhaust no longer smells like burnt gas, The HHO gas makes the exhaust smell like boiling water. and at idle i notice a difference in the engine when i turn the unit off. i am very impressed. thx again you guys are great i will send you more info and pictures for your website thx again.

Here is the new mini gen installed in the trunk of a 2002 Neon. Photo1 Photo2. You may use it on your web site if you like. I made arrows on the lines going into the air intake. Hope it clarifies the setup. It appears that I am getting about 4 to 6 mpg increase. I have to fill my gas tank completely , so I can get an accurate MPG reading. It definately made a difference in MPG when I turned the mini gen off.
